Prayer against gossip

Heavenly Father,

We surrender to you all the people who use their tongues to speak evil. Lord, when we are gossiped about, be the unbreakable shield we only rely on.

In the name of Jesus Christ, I bind, rebuke and bring to nothingness every witchcraft tongue speaking against me or mine.

As a ministry, we especially pray for those who tell tales and cause deep rifts; for everyone who meddles in our lives or gossips about us and puts spokes in the work you have entrusted to us.

A prayer for the society that we live in, dear Lord: keep us holy, pure and saintly – in our thoughts, words, actions and lifestyles.

Cut out useless words from every part of our speech.

We decree and declare that no weapon fashioned against your people shall prosper; every  tongue that  that  shall rise up against us we will condemn.

Holy Spirit, expose the lies, disguises, deceptions, sneakiness, ugliness and violence of the evil one within your churches and ministries.

By the blood of Jesus I extinguish the fires of rumours, lies and gossip spoken against me and my own, in Jesus name.

Expose evil manipulation and deceit; let these evil plots never succeed in our homes or in our churches. Every lying tongue be exposed and disgraced in Jesus’ Name.

I bind lying tongues and dismantle every problem brought into my life by lying spirits –  in the mighty name of my Jesus.

Let every evil collective unity organised against me be broken, in the name of Jesus.

I quench every strange fire emanating from evil tongues against me and I stand against every evil covenant, in Jesus’ name. Let every tongue and plot of the enemy fashioned  against my progress and prosperity  be frustrated, in the name of Jesus.

Every witchcraft tongues working against me, I bring the judgment of God against you, and I silence you  forever, in Jesus Name.

Every word spoken against me by the powers of witchcraft  be disgraced and cast to the pit of hell, in Jesus  Name.

Abba Father, we choose this moment to hold no malice and we forgive unconditionally anyone who has spoken or acted against us and caused us, our loved ones and Your ministry any harm.

We plead Your mercy upon ourselves and our enemies and we bless them.

May Your all-encompassing love cleanse and heal all people and may we worship you in spirit and in truth, greater love and unity, within our churches, homes and institutions.

In Jesus’ Most Holy Name.
