Brownies that are melt in your mouth awesome! You might need to double the recipe and it still won’t be enough. Pure chocolate heaven. Enjoy!

Melt 250 gm butter. In a mixing bowl, whisk the melted butter with 1 and a half cups of sugar, 2 large eggs, 1 tablespoon sunflower oil and 2 teaspoons vanilla extract.

Whisk the egg mixture well to ensure you get that crackly top.

Add 1/2 cup plain flour, 1/2 cup cocoa powder, a pinch of salt and 1/2 cup of chopped nuts (almonds, pecans or cashews)

Mix gently (as over beating will change the texture of the brownies to that of cakes) If you can’t get enough of chocolate, add 1/2 cup of white/dark chocolate chips too.

Pour the mix into a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake for 25 mins at 175 degrees.

Cut into squares and serve.
