We love everything Nutella. We eat it straight off the can. So why not combine cookies and Nutella to get a delicious hazelnutty disc?

Spoon out 12 dollops of Nutella onto a small tray lined with baking paper. Freeze for an hour.

In a mixing bowl, whisk 1/2 cup melted butter, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup white sugar, 1 egg and 1 tsp vanilla essence. Add 1/2 tsp baking soda, 1 cup flour, 1 tbs corn flour, 1/2 cup cocoa powder and a pinch of salt. Mix well to form a dough.

Get the frozen Nutella out of the freezer. Take bits of the cookie dough, place one Nutella piece in the centre and form into balls. Place them one inch apart on a baking tray. Bake for 10 minutes.

These taste amazing if served warm. And you get to see the melted chocolatey lava flowing, as you take each bite.

Chocolate dreams coming alive!
