This cake is a decadent mix of rich ingredients that shift layers during the baking process, thus giving it this name. Be warned about the chocolate, cheese, nuts and coconut overload.
Line a cake pan with 1/2 cup sweetened shredded coconut and 1/2 cup chopped pecans. Mix 1 packet of readymade chocolate cake mix with the ingredients mentioned on the box (eggs, water and oil) Pour cake mixture on top of the coconut nut mixture.
Blend 1 cup cream cheese with 1/2 cup melted butter, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 1 cup powdered sugar and a pinch of salt. Take blobs of this mixture and layer on top of the cake mixture in the pan.
Top with 1 cup of chocolate chips, evenly spread.
Bake for 50 mins at 250 degrees. Serve warm, topped with scoops of chocolate ice cream. Dig in!
