One of WWE’s most renowned wrestlers, Hulk Hogan, has been baptised, aged 70, alongside his wife.
Hogan, who’s real name is Terry Gene Bollea, shared footage of the ceremony at Indian Rocks Baptist Church in Florida via his Instagram and Facebook accounts on Wednesday.
“Total surrender and dedication to Jesus is the greatest day of my life. No worries, no hate, no judgment… only love!” he wrote.
Hulk wore his trademark bandana – this time in white and silver cross necklace. Hogan could be seen smiling as he emerged from the water and hugged the man who assisted him.
He also helped dip his wife, Sky Daily Hogan – whom he married in September – into the water.
Both Hulk and Daily surfaced with big smiles.
He also shared a photo of him with his head bowed in what appeared to be a prayer with his family.
Indian Rocks Baptist Church also shared the moment on their own Instagram, posting: “God is doing amazing things at Indian Rocks”.
Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, was the most popular wrestler of the 1980s, becoming famous around the world for his long-running WWE career. He is also well known as a TV personality, playing himself in shows such as The Goldbergs and American Dad, and appearing in films such as Mr Nanny, No Holds Barred and Rocky III
Hogan first went public with news of his faith in April, via a post on X:
“I accepted Christ as my saviour at 14yrs old, and the training, prayers and vitamins kept me in the game but now that I am one with God, the main event theme of surrender, service and love makes me the Real Main Event that can slam any giant of any size through the power of my Lord and Saviour and so it is, even now brother, AMEN!”
