Fall in love with this lemon tart at first bite. Lemon lovers will wipe the tart dish clean within minutes.

Melt 150 gm butter. Add 1 and a half cups of flour and 3 tablespoons of powdered sugar.

Knead into a dough and press flat into a tart pan.

Poke holes with a fork and bake for 10-15 mins at 170 degrees.

Cool the base.

Whip together 2 eggs, 1/2 cup thick cream, juice from 1 large lemon, few drops of lemon or orange essence and 1/2 cup powdered sugar.

Pour this onto the cooked base. Bake for another 10 minutes at 150 degrees.

Dust with powdered sugar and serve.
