Monday Reflection – Aug 19

The just live by faith. They don’t just vacation there. Or visit. Live. Every moment, daily.

Plugin to God constantly. Most people live carnal. Every moment and every decision is ruled by their five senses. They say what they have, instead of having what they want. God wants you to fight your battles supernaturally.

Anything that concerns you is important to Jesus. But even committed Christians do not see Christ as the ultimate answer to all their dilemmas. They run to the phone instead of the throne. They go to church, do their Christian chores, live well and hope to go to heaven when they die. But they do not see the Holy Spirit as their constant friend, their comforter, their problem solver and answer to everything. Personal lives are separated from spiritual lives.

But Jesus is just as concerned about those prayer meetings you organise just as much about your dirty dishes, your work stress, your sick child, that addiction you can’t get rid off, your pending loan payments, your broken car, your loneliness, your broken heart, your angry teen, your abusive spouse, the fights within your family, your hidden tears and all your daily mundane moments of misery and joy.

The crippled, the blind, the demon possessed and the sick all came to Jesus. You can too.

Easier to stay away and complain. But you need to fervently desire for His touch.

That true desire for Jesus is what can change your life today. Jesus is the answer.
