The word ‘rededicate’ never applies to a worldly person. Cos if it’s dedication, then it’s for life. Its a good trait, worth possessing.
We may have made many errors, but we are called to be dedicated to God, people, commitments, ministry and the promises we make.
Its dedication that keeps godly men and women faithful to ministry. Dedication keeps parents fight hard – during long nights with infants and longer battles with their growing children. Dedication keeps people stick to jobs and relationships when the picture is not rosy anymore. Even keeping a simple promise requires commitment.
It takes incredible dedication to commit to a life or prayer and obedience to JESUS.
Don’t make promises you can’t keep and take on commitments you are unable to handle. “Do not be quick with your mouth, do not be hasty in your heart to utter anything before God. God is in heaven and you are on earth, so let your words be few” (Ecclesiastes 5:2)
Humans stray from keeping their word and their commitments. God always keeps His Word.
Stay committed to your commitments. Make promises you can keep. Stay wIth GOD.
We strengthen our faith by being obedient and true to the Father when we keep our word. And if we are people of integrity, God will bring us more opportunities with even more blessings.
Go back to precious God today and dedicate ALL the areas of your life…especially where we have failed Him and people.
No half-baked commitments. Go all the way. Only a few do so.
