Monday Reflection – Dec 19

Some people mentioned in the Bible knew that Jesus was the Son of God, but the love of public approval would not permit them to have a true relationship with Him. Even many of the leading men believed in Jesus, but would not confess it for fear that if they did, they would be expelled from the synagogue.

Wonder how the lives of people-pleasers really turn out. They miss intimacy with God because they said yes to people and no to God.

Just know, some people are going to find fault, even if an angel appeared to them. Don’t strive to not offend people at the risk of wounding God.

People get offended not only by what you do, but even things you don’t do. Why be a slave to men when you can be free in God?

People-pleasers often fade into oblivion and never fulfil their destiny because they love the approval of men more than the approval of God.

It may seem cool for a while, but eventually you strive to please someone so much that you do not even respect or know – what you truly value anymore.

You don’t follow people, you follow God. No mess ups.

Make sure you go the last mile and do ALL that God wants you to do in your life. Now THAT – would be a fulfilling life.
