All of us have stepped back home to retrieve a piece of jewellery, watch, keys, mobile phone, book or work folder that we had forgotten to carry.
I have.
Never have I gone back home because I forgot to spend quality time with my God.
Something to think about.
We know how to chase an educational qualification, a dress, a good book, a car, a title, a house, an important celebrity – we plan for years for those.
Seek God better. HE needs no prior appointment. Moreover, HE is the only one who never leaves us or forsakes us.
We need to get more excited about God – even than about family or friends, church titles, ministry roles, TV time, hobbies, money or accolades.
Lest we find at the end of our lives that we were seeking empty baubles, while ignoring our biggest treasure.
