Don’t wait to learn to fight when you are in the fire. Learn to fight much before you enter the battlefield and please know who your REAL enemy is. It is Satan.
As believers in Jesus Christ, our battles are not against people, situations or even ourselves.
The Bible tells us who our real enemy is. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Eph 6:12)
Behind all the things that are happening in our lives and around the world, there is a very real spiritual battle taking place. The devil is using people and situations as his pawns. Satan – a liar, deceiver, destroyer, controller, manipulator and accuser – comes to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10)
But Satan is no match for JESUS. His Word is our protection. We must know it, meditate on it, obey it blindly and use it against the enemy.
I’m sure you and I are in at least one battle right now. Maybe sickness, strife, people problems, addictions, work issues, financial crunch or trauma of some kind.
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, didn’t shed every drop of His Blood on the cross just so that we could barely muddle through life. Read His Word, ask the Holy Spirit to help you. Walk with Jesus, holding His Hand.
If you have hit a plateau today, don’t be weary in the fight, but push closer to Jesus.
He will take over.
