Monday Reflection – July 17

It hasn’t been an easy season for most of us.

Speaking to people we know and love, we hear a lot about pain, distress, sickness, grief. People suffer all over the world – in all kinds of ways. Some – so much that they even do not want to live or fight anymore.

Life is hard at times. But understand that our battles are spiritual first and last. The enemy will never leave you alone…and he won’t fight fair. Satan will attack you in any area of your life through people, situations and weaknesses.

But God is greater than the enemy. In all your battles, the only constant is GOD. Getting close to God is the best thing you can ever do for yourself.

The battle is real. The battle is intense. But the battle is won if you get right with JESUS first.

The truth is we can’t make our lives right on our own — we need God. When we start a relationship with Him, Jesus offers us everything that He is, including His righteousness. Not because we do everything right, but because we have been made right by our faith in Jesus.

God didn’t create us to live defeated. He created us to overcome. Amid all these things we are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us (Romans 8:37) Seasons of difficulty – that’s when you realise that He is for us! Don’t live a defeated life when God has equipped and empowered you to win life’s battles.

JESUS loves you. Nothing we do will ever change that. You can take any problem to Him 24/7. That does not change either.

Be in love with GOD. Get right with Him first. Then take all things, one by one – to the Lord in prayer. One day at a time, one problem at a time. He will ease your pain, heal your heart and set things right.

It is important you have a friend at all times. Who better than your Creator?
