It’s easy to quote scripture, repeat christian sayings and to pray – when things are going right. Then life throws you a curveball and you reel.
TRUST GOD and praise Him. Then let go to JESUS and enjoy everyday life.
To trust is to believe in blindly – in JESUS’ name, the authority of His Blood, His Word, His love and His constant presence with you. Trusting JESUS means believing that He already did His bestest for you – He died for you and He is with you. Trusting Jesus means believing that what He says about Himself, what’s in His Word, about situations, about the world and about you – is true.
Trusting God is never a feeling; it’s a choice – to have faith in what He says even when your feelings or circumstances go against it, in every possible way. Reality happens. But it is not reliable enough to base your life on. It can change even in an instant. JESUS does not change. He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow and therefore is worthy of your trust.
Trusting God is not about ignoring your feelings or reality. It is not pretending that everything is OK when it isn’t.
Trusting God is living a life of faith and blind obedience to God, even when it’s difficult. And sometimes, for so long and even when you see no respite.
Be honest. You can tell God how you feel and in what areas you are struggling to trust Him. You can also tell Him when it’s difficult for you to stay in faith. Only JESUS understands.
Talk to Him every day – that’s the key. About everything.
Give it all to Him. You give him your simple childish trust and He is able to do exceedingly abundantly more than you can possibly imagine.
Dare to cry out daily, “Jesus, help!”
Then speak to that mountain you are facing. JESUS and you is majority; that mountain will crumble.
