GOD created you for a purpose. You may be afraid to ask God why.
Life has a way of throwing some punches at us; we may then constantly live in safe mode. We already have too many battles to fight, we do not want to fight more. So we plod along mundane paths, without seeking JESUS or His plans for us.
But life really begins when you ask God why HE created you. And life flourishes not just when you find His will, but when you obey it.
Psalm 57:2 says, “I cry out to God Most High, to God who fulfil his purpose for me.”
It’s time for us to take our lives back and stop letting people and situations dictate what we should do.
Blatantly living in sin, not honouring GOD in your life decisions, merely surviving each day, feeling stuck in misery and feeling empty – these are definitely things that should make you re-assess your life.
God has something great for you. He doesn’t intend for you to live a life of painful drudgery. Part of fulfilling God’s purpose for your life is finding ways to draw on your gifts/talents to give the world something you really can. But let HIM decide.
To obey God’s purpose: study the Bible daily, seek God’s will through prayer and reflection, strive to live in obedience to GOD, make decisions that align with God’s guidance on how to use your skills. Align your dreams to HIS will. NOTHING else can ever make you truly happy.
And think, speak and act with love, compassion and integrity towards all. This means actively incorporating God’s will into your daily life.
Ask Jesus about everything. Obey Him in everything. Enjoy everyday life. It’s that simple really.
