Monday Reflection – Oct 2

Life can seem depressing – if on a hard day, you feel like you haven’t really achieved anything so far.

You may feel like you have had a dreadfully hard life, others have it easy and its too late. And to add insult to injury, you see other people being blessed in areas you sincerely think you should have been blessed in. And if you are having a season of self-doubt and loss, things can seem harder and more hopeless than they really are.

For those who know Jesus, its not the end of your story. You may be buffeting hardship and repeated battles, but you are storing up riches for yourself in heaven.

Satan attacks our thinking whenever he can. He aims to make people believe that they are failures. But people really fail because of wrong thinking.

The storm outside cannot affect you if there is no storm inside. You may not overcome a failure, but you can overcome a bad attitude about those failures.

Jesus defeated satan on the cross and His victory is our victory. You are more than a conqueror through Christ (Romans 8:37)

And for a believer of Christ, you have already won. This is not the end of your story.

Heaven is waiting for you.
