Monday Reflection – Sept 18

Nobody but you and God. Nobody else will ever know what it costs you to obey Him and strive to do good daily.
Sometimes pieces in your life just don’t make sense. Issues that you never imagined in your wildest dreams crop up. Friends leave. Trusted relationships are broken. Tragedy strikes. Health fails.
You can ask people to pray, share with trusted counsellors of God. But how many times? On some days, you may get mad at God, self and people for having to share the same concerns over and over. And then you see everyone around getting blessed, while you somehow seem to be on the waiting line.
Pray over those more. Take those to God more. Forgive more – seventy times seven just means – over and over. And lean on Father God. Tell Him you love Him and trust Him. You know that Jesus will take over. You just know the Holy Spirit will step in and run things for you.
We may live our lives forward, but we can understand life only backward. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose (Rom: 8:28)
Everything that causes pain is not bad; everything sad can teach us lessons if we let them. Use all those painful moments in your life as stepping stones for more growth and for greater intimacy with JESUS.
Jesus doesn’t care if you have arrived but He wants you moving. Steer back to Him and keep moving.
