Spiritual Warfare

Monday Reflection – Sept 2

Some mountains are to be spoken to. But some have to be climbed, with the Lord’s help.

For both situations, you and I need the Word of God.

When Satan speaks lies over people, speak life. Cast all cares on Jesus. SPEAK life to yourself and others, not death.

We live in the world, but we have to live like we are not of the world. Say no to the flesh and set your mind to the things of the spirit.

There are people around you and me daily, who need to experience God through us. For you to give that love out, you need to be saturated by JESUS. His love.

Stop focusing on what’s going wrong around you. Like they say, if you decide to have a pity party, satan will bring the candles. When the devil lies to you, you can still refuse to believe any of it and then go into his territory, refuse and renounce all evil and wage spiritual warfare to nullify his attacks through the Word and the Blood of Jesus. That is how you help yourself and others.

Set your mind on the things of heaven. Daily challenges, battles you’ve faced for long and other environmental dysfunctions will continue to hit our lives. Our responses should be built on the Word of God.

Repent constantly if you give Satan a leeway into negative thinking. Speak those promises which are sharper than a double edged sword.

Seek Jesus’ help. And when a situation arises, respond well, instead of reacting.
