Prayer for all children

Lord Jesus, today we surrender to You our children.

They are our most precious gifts from You and we need the grace to raise them well, ensuring that they have the best in life – beginning with the right knowledge and fear of You.

We pray that Your angels will watch over these precious treasures of our families.

May their spirits, souls and bodies be protected from any harm or evil. Be with them Lord Jesus, even when we cannot. Amen.

May Your blessings be upon our children through recitation of His Word. As parents, let us be able to facilitate our children with spiritual growth, sending them to the Church and Sunday school so they get familiar with the Christian way of life.

When they grow up and face the world, they shouldn’t be ashamed of You or their faith, but they must be well aware of who they are in Christ.

Lord Jesus, You told us to become like little children. We are today raising children who are forced to grow up much before their time.

We bring to You our little ones who are battling stress, anxiety and even depression at such a young age.

We pray that You will teach us how to raise them as good Christians – fine men and women – who would die for Your call over their lives.
