Prayer for those being tested

Lord Jesus, our Saviour, we need You now, as we are struggling in the crucible of suffering.

Lord, touch and bless each of us who are being tested through loss, illness, family problems, bondages, crisis situations, financial crunch, stress, fear and natural calamities.

Wash all these pain away by the power of Your precious blood. Lord, let Your peace be with us during this season of suffering.

Make some good come out of it for all of us – a change in life direction, a deepening of faith and love, protection from other adversities in the future, a new zeal for Your kingdom, a desire to help others, an empathy towards those in need and an eagerness to serve You more.

We believe You are by our side – may Your love bring us healing, comfort and peace, plus assurance, right now.

Open incredible doors for us by Your power alone. And may we rejoice, knowing that suffering is temporary and its rewards, eternal.
