Lord Jesus, today we bring to You everything that we count as big losses in our lives today.
We surrender to you the financial crunch, the failed interview, the broken home, the lost relationship, the thwarted plans, the insulted friendship, the shattered dreams, the destroyed ministry, the lost job, the broken marriage and many more precious gifts of Yours that we have lost.
Lord, we chose to forgive ourselves and the ones who destroyed our visions.
Lord Jesus, we praise You amidst our brokenness. When You breathe life into our losses, they become precious gains once again.
Help us to experience You and more importantly, recognise and thank You sincerely for that. May no child of Yours despair today over anything that he or she has lost.
May we keep our eyes focused on what lies ahead – victory in Your name and by Your power alone.
And may we have the humility and the grace to work in replacing and rebuilding whatever we have lost for us or others, or for Your Kingdom by our own folly. Amen.
Lord help us to find our relationships, our peace and love in families. Lord help all those who have lost their jobs… May they be comforted and stay strong in their faith and hope.
