Great for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Typical South Indian breakfast fare – nourishing, healthy and tasty.
While traditional dosas are made out of fermented rice and black gram lentils batter, this one can be made within minutes!
Add 2 cups wholemeal flour to a bowl, add enough warm water and whisk until you get a thick flowing batter without lumps.
Add salt and make thin pancakes on a non-stick pan.
For the chutney: Grind 1 coconut, 2 whole red chillies, a sprig of curry leaves with water to form a thick paste.
Heat 1 tablespoon coconut oil in a pan, temper with black mustard seeds, ½ chopped onion and few curry leaves.
Add the coconut paste and warm, stirring well. Serve hot with the wheat dosas.
